I am a Beautiful Disaster.

There are many challenges and stigmas that come along with being a woman, yet, at the same time there is an undeniable force of a woman’s spirit that is unlike anything else in the world. To me being a beautiful disaster is embracing just that. It is about loving yourself fully no matter what you have been through. Regardless of the challenges, labels, or set backs you may have had in life, embracing your inner beauty along with some of life’s inevitable chaos is what makes the beautiful disaster idea so powerful.

None of us are perfect and it is so important for women to honor themselves and what they have been through without judgement. Being a mother of two young girls I already see the pressures that society places on females to look and act a certain way. I have always been a person who has paved her own path and designed my life the way I wanted to. Today I am teaching my girls to do the same. Being ourselves and being unique is the greatest gift we could ever give back to the world, and I think the Beautiful Disaster brand does that beautifully.

In my business I mentor and coach a lot of women to release health and financial challenges. In this work I see so many beautiful souls holding onto labels and challenges that do not serve them. I teach my clients and team that by embracing the parts of themselves that might seem negative they can begin to release and change those things by first learning to love themselves fully. Don’t strive to be perfect, strive to find your passion. In fact, perfection is overrated. What matters much more then perfection is persistence and belief in yourself. If you have those two qualities you can truly accomplish anything. Do not let labels define who you are. If I had held onto the many labels I have been given in my lifetime I would not have created the success I have today.

When I was 14 years old I became a drug addict. I was addicted to hallucinogenics, narcotics and alcohol. Through determination, self- development, cleansing, and faith I was able to rebuild my body and life. I have never allowed the label of “drug addict” to stay with me, and I never let it define who I was. I am grateful for this experience because it taught me so much about overcoming obstacles, and the power I had within myself to change and heal. It also led me to the path that I am on today in the field of human development, health, and helping others transform their lives.

Today I am a successful business owner, published author, speaker, and mentor to hundreds of people all over the world. Had I not taken charge of my own life, I wouldn’t be able to do the work I am doing today. Just know that no matter where you are in your life right now you have the ability to change it. Stay true to who you are, and listen to the voice in your soul that loves you unconditionally. That is your true self and the person you should honor the most. Honor your mistakes, faults, and challenges. Let them be the path that guides you to transformation, and in turn it will set you free to live a beautiful life.

I am proud of all my challenges and what I have overcome in my life, and I am proud to be a beautiful disaster.
